Course Description: Though very different media, music and art share many things in common most obviously, the subjects that have provided inspiration, but also the social and aesthetic influences of different periods. We will explore commonalities and differences, using case studies. No previous knowledge needed to enjoy this course.

Course Title: A Sense of Place
Course Description: The poetry we shall look at is not all 'descriptive', but it has all been chosen because it evokes a place mainly within East Anglia, occasionally further afield. We shall read and study it for pleasure, with the occasional technical detail!
