Course Description: Focusing upon the period from 1890 to 1910, through significant cultural centres, we will explore the processes by which Modernism emerged and the forces that fashioned it. Cities included will be London, Moscow, Vienna, Helsinki, Barcelona, Paris, Brussels, Glasgow and New York.
