Halstead Branch of the WEA has run many courses on a wide variety of subjects over many years. The branch was first established in 1916 making it one of the first. The WEA has changed much over the last 100 years and has now reached a point where we believe branch operations are no longer viable. Reluctantly, we have therefore decided to close the branch.
